Escape Milton Keynes - Escape Room FAQs

We get asked a lot of questions with regards to our Escape Room Games so we’ve compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions so you can take a quick look, and hopefully have some of your queries answered on our site. However, if you still have other questions and you don’t see them answered here, you can always get in touch with us here at Escape Room Milton Keynes. Let’s start, shall we?

What are Escape Room Games?

These are moderately sized rooms furnished using a particular theme, and these themes will have been taken from ideas from popular culture. You will be in a team of about 2 to 6, who will be locked in the same room with you. You will all be searching for clues with an hour to find them so you can escape.

Solve the clues in an hour.

The secret to your release from the room lies in the clues you must find and solve within an hour. You’ll search everywhere in the room. Once you find them all you’ll try working them out to find the bigger picture, the you can all escape the room in time. If you’re successful, the door will open, and you get out. Do you and your team have what it takes to get out in time? If you don’t get out in time though, you can always come back and try again.

Could you tell us if there are any age limits?

There are no age limits, but we would suggest that if you bring anyone under 10, they may find it hard going as the game is really designed for adults.  If you do decide to bring anyone under 16, then please do, but make sure there are adults and that they don’t come by themselves, as we’d have to turn them away.

I suffer with claustrophobia, should I still come?

Don’t worry leave the doors unlocked or we can even leave them open. The rooms aren’t small, but we’re always trying to work with you so you feel comfortable while you’re playing the game. Let us know if you’d like us to do this for you. Remember, you can leave the room whenever you want.

What’s the maximum amount of people allowed in each room?

From 2 to 6 is best. But, try to keep the numbers to six if you can otherwise it could get a bit crowded, and you’ll be bumping into furniture.

How much time do you need before and after you’re inside the room?

We usually suggest about an hour and a half because we’ll need to talk to you about what to expect, and chat to you about our health and safety before you enter the room, so you know how to exit safely should there be an emergency.
